Dessert Recipes: Affogato (Coffee & Icecream) Recipe
- your favourite premium vanilla icecream
- fresh hot coffee
- Place one or two scoops of icecream in a latte glass or coffee cup.
- Prepare some hot coffee (as strong as you like) and pour a small amount of coffee over icecream (just enough to not quite cover it).
- Optional extras are a shot of your favourite liqueur (such as grappa, Sambuca or Frangelico), or some crunchy almond biscotti or other nutty biscuits.
- Serve with a spoon, and perhaps a glass of Reynella Tawny Port.
